So how fake is WWE?
It's just scripted entertainment. If they weren't "wrestling" on a spring hung mat, most of those moves would cripple or kill the actors.
Totally fake.
I recommend that you watch this great movie and then form your opinion.
The fitness and physical abilities are real .. The rest is all for show. We can't forget this is for entertainment .. The drama is choreographed.

A couple years ago, there was actually a "reality" show based on contestants learning to be "wrastlers".
Fake isn't the word I would use. Scripted and rehearsed is more like it. They go for the highest rating to make the most money. It is a business.
