You can get into financial truble with both if you're not responsible with either of them..

A card is only a card. It's how we use it that tells the story.

My vote is the credit card as it allows you, within the boundaries of your credit limit, to charge all you want. The debit card does limit you to what you have in your checking account. However, if you have no self-control, both cards will lead to trouble -> the debit card will lead to insufficient fund charges each time you go over --> the credit card will lead to over-limit charges.

It all depends on how responsibly you use either one. If you overuse either one, you can get into financial trouble.

It is quite easier to do reckless spending when you are using credit card as opposed to when you are purchasing with a debit card. What you call freedom can easily go wrong and since there is the ease of buying anything that your heart could crave for at that moment, you could easily land yourself into trouble of buying things that were not needed.

Hi
there! Yes, they are and it’s mainly due to the fact that a credit card will help
you make payments with funds that aren’t yours. You will have to repay the
money to the bank, with interest, and this can be pretty painful if you are not
ready to handle it all! Try to use your debit card as much as possible!
