Originally, yes, but it's grown on me, and it's fun. Well.... It was until the admin messed up.
It serves a great purpose of wasting time while waiting for the laundry to dry.
Actually, the interaction with a community of wonderful people on here is never a waste of time...just wish that I had more time to be on this site.

there! I am not on Blurtit to waste time, but to help people find answers to
their questions! I also try ask a few things every now and then, and I
eventually expect folks to provide the required support. It’s all done with a
lot of passion, it's fun and I feel useful as it's a way to assist those in
need!
It's never a 'waste of time' if you can learn something, find comfort and support or give comfort and support.
I don't believe in purposely wasting time at anything, for any reason. It's wasting life. Not my style.
If I actually intended to waste my time (read: life) I'd spend hours upon hours on a Playstation, or standing in lines at midnight for movie premiers or new tech gadget releases, or praying to some invisible deity.
No, I won't indulge such pointless vacuities.
With this in mind, let it be said, Blurtit has never been a waste of my time.
