I liked all of his 007 movies but my favorite was his TV series where he played Simon Templar in "The Saint".
While I found his "Delivery" of lines to be very cool and sophisticated, He was not my favorite Bond by far . . . I don't think it was his fault . . He did most of his acting (Bond Related) during a time when some of movies were at their Campiest (Cheesiest) . . .
One of my very few claims to fame was that I stood next to Roger Moore as we both checked into a hotel in London some 25 years ago. He turned to me and said "They're very slow, aren't they?" in a voice that could be heard all over the lobby. Being told off by James Bond seemed to do the trick.
I liked him in The Spy Who Loved Me.
Rest in peace, Sir Roger.
Live and let die
Awe. I'm saddened by this.
Natural causes or was he ill ?
