We in the south are having May rain
California gets what weather reporters call "May Gray" meaning we have cloud coverings but with heat. What do the colder states get when Cali has May gray?
While not in a colder state, May is the end of our dry season, and the heat starts up. Thankfully our rainy season seems to be starting week or two early. We have rain forecasted for the afternoon/evening for the rest of this week. We sure do need it.
When I was living in Kansas, May was the bipolar month. One day it would be 80 and the next it would be 40. You would have a gorgeous day, and then you would have floods and hail. I am so glad to be back in my home state, those I do miss the May flowers up north.
The old adage of "April showers bring May flowers" changed this year to "May showers might bring June flowers". May was a very rainy month for me in S.E. Pennsylvania and the sun has been a rarity.
