If I've had a standard cold for more than/roughly two months, should I visit a doctor? Or wait it out?

How long are you willing to wait?

The standard cold doesn't last two months unless there is something else going on.  I'd be seeing a doctor and finding out.

Tigers right. It maybe an allergy or an infection. Either way 2 months is more then enough time for a cold to be fought off. It's time for a doctor's advice. I hope you feel better soon. ☺

Sounds like it is not standard if we are talking months . . . Could be walking pneumonia to a sinus infection . . .

Time to see the doctor and get your meds going.

A standard cold last 10-14 days. What you have is not that if it has lasted 2 months. Now for some gross discussion, as explained to me by a doctor. If what is coming out of your nose is clear, it is allergies. You could go to the doctor but they will just tell you take some over the counter allergy medicine. If what is coming is green or yellow you have a bacterial infection and need to see the doctor for some antibiotics. If what is coming out is white, it is most likely a viral infection. Normally I would say let it run its course, but two months is too long for that to go on. You need to see a doctor.
