Sorry my friend... We don't get much (any) snow in So Cal. I don't know except for to warm up the car first before getting in and going?

You can just put those plastic things that you used to cover food to cover the windows and let it stay on the windows overnight. The next morning you can peel it off. Or you can heat the car up like Darren said

  3. De-Icer Products. Spray the chemical de-icer around the edges of the windows, where the window meets the car door.

Vinegar Solution

Load it up in a spray bottle and spray liberally over your windshield the night before a frost. Wipe with a squeegee or old rag. Must be done daily. You can also spray on existing frost or ice for faster melting.

Vinegar can be used on existing ice for fast melting and you could try some of the other stuff I've posted above . Hope this helps and that link might be of help too. :) :)

Thanx. I'm now considering that silcone spray. It's always one window on the passenger side that freezes up and is last to defrost.
