Broke and happy. Money doesn't matter if one is miserable. I wish I were a happy billionaire.

This is the old “money can’t buy happiness” cliche. It can, however, bankroll our own choice of misery. Put me down for billionaire.

A billionaire can afford the necessary counseling and meds  to mitigate depression, assuming he wants to. He can also ensure his family’s prosperity long term, that, by itself makes me happy.

Nothing wrong with broke and happy, except I’ve been broke before, and the happiness there is mighty narrow.

I'll be a billionaire with depression any day of the week...... There's nothing happy about being broke, been there done that and didn't like it.
