It can either hurt or not hurt. My first time it didn't, but it's really different for every girl. As everyone else said, just take it slow! Go at your own pace and only do what's comfortable for you. &As someone else said ALSO, make sure that you two practice safe sex!

Tell him you need Saturdays or Sundays off just for you so you can deal with your family problem and have time for yourself. Boyfriends/girlfriends sometimes forget that the person they're with need some alone time and not because he/she doesn't love him/her. If you're quiet about it can seriously damage your relationship over time.

On the occassion that you want to do something else, like spend time with your family .. Say the words "I'm not coming over, I'm spending the time with my family" .. Or even invite him to a family event .. Whichever works for you.
