Are the people you personally know, or simply other people around you, very interested in storytelling? Perhaps moreso than being interested in the actual truth? More importantly, are they generally very eager to tell you and/or others whatever they happen to personally think your particular story is? And, if so, why do you think that is?

No , if by storytelling you mean liars and I think that is because I tend to cut liars out of my life. OFF WITH THEIR HEADS !! :p

Some years ago Mrs Didge went back to school and one of her assignments was to write an essay about folk lore. She wrote, "Folk lore is what happens when Didge and his friend John get together on Sunday morning to talk."
