This year has been a mess for us. I am dreading Xmass, Thanksgiving, Mother's Day and valentine's day.

Memorial Day. It is a very hard day for my husband and there is nothing I can say or do to make it better.

Valentine's day. What's the point? Do you suddenly love your special someone even more on that day?

Easter.

The whole "He is Risen" thing is Way out of control in America . . . Both Easter and Christmas was decided upon by a Council and have NOTHING to do with actual authenticity of dates and everything to do with trying to bury older pagan rituals and ceremonies to PUSH the Christian belief.

Hell, they even tried turning Samhain into "All Saints Day" . . . Pitiful attempt.

It's just the incarnational nature of the new reality that Christ brought through His Redemption.

It just keeps spreading and changing pagan holidays like that for the better---probably more to come..

There was intent upon the part of the church , which is fine with me . . . that just brings the "myth" amounts down . . . narrowing the field "make Believe" so that the last of them will be easier to dispatch as such.
