I'm from Ask.com. I found it as a pop up on my phone. I checked it out and it sounded like something I would be interested in. Everyone has questions they don't know the answers to and so I joined. I learned about blurtit from my Ask. Buddies.

Someone told me about Ask, so I joined it and mostly enjoyed it until they started making all those silly rules and deleting so much. So I went looking at other sites and found blurtit from a list of Q & A sites and liked what I saw. Much better but smaller site with a … Read more

I am originally from ask.com....I came over to Blurtit before the great migration. I left ask because there was too much drama for no reason. I followed Rooster when he came over. This site is much better than ask ever thought of being.....course I'm a little biased!

I am from Ask, and I found it while looking for information on dosage for an herbal supplement for my dog. He had been diagnosed with cancer and I was doing what I could to keep him happy and comfortable for as long as I could. I didn't get an answer, but I did good. … Read more

I'm not going anywhere! I've been to other sites and this one really is the best! It is very easy to navigate and I really like the fact that you can message and chat. I learn a lot from other people's answers and I'm interested to see other peoples points of view. Everyone that I … Read more

Personally, I don't use "favorite" very often.

When we were re-designing the site, it was included as a way to 'bookmark' questions and answers that you might want to read later.

Personally, I find it more interesting to check stuff out "live" on the site, rather than re-reading older Q&A.

Also, it takes a few clicks to get … Read more

Either one is fine as long as they are clean. If you use a site from Google, make sure you put a link with it. As far as " Off the Wall" ? Go for it. Just keep it clean as there are teens on the site also. We delete very little unless it's spam … Read more

If they have signed up for the site, it will go to them but rarely do people respond. If the person is still online, they will see the edit. Whether they respond or not is a whole different question. I don't think they will see anything unless they have joined the site and are still … Read more

Actually there would be two of them. One was when I first came on here and saw how nice and friendly the people were as compared to another site I seldom use now. Great people of all ages and from around the world. The other was when they made me an Administrator and I could … Read more

There sure is.

Rooster and Taylor are correct, you need to paste embed code by clicking the video icon in the answer toolbar.

Where you get the embed code depends on where you're getting the video from... I mainly get videos from YouTube.

All you need to do is click "Share" and then select the option "Embed".

Then copy and paste … Read more

I've never done it before, but there's a button next to all the text formatting ones that's like a little box with a 'play' symbol in it. If you click that it asks you for the 'video embed code', which I guess you can copy-and-paste from the video itself.

It doesn't make me mad but the kids should be doing their homework on their own or maybe in a library, they do still have those don't they?

If there is a "homework" category on this site I think it should be taken off.  If kids let strangers help the get answers on their homework, what … Read more

I don't mind if people ask generic questions that might have something to do with their homework. For example, if they are doing a report on Martin Luther King, and they asked what year he was born in - that's okay. What I do find annoying, though, is when they just type the whole question, … Read more
