Is having a Gas Card a good idea? I spend $80 a month on gas. Would it be wise to get a Gas Card use it weekly and pay the balance each month? Or just keep paying $20 cash a week.

You have already gotten several of the positive aspects of a gas card, and I will add in a negative one...

I myself have never had a gas card, but something I have noticed: Among my friends who do, periodically there is always someone who steals the identity somehow, and starts charging their gas to you illegally.

The gas companies seem VERY good in that they always straighten it out your favor, but there is that inconvenience of going through the process of getting the impinger's charges removed.

Sometimes they have little perks .. Like collecting points which you can covert into credit for thing or even more gas

I have one card that gives me 3% back on gas purchases.

If you charge $20 per week, at the end of a year you could fill up your tank for free with your "cash back rewards."
