Why are people so happy that it rained?

I don't know :) maybe they're happy it wasn't snow ? I want it to snow :(

I'd be happy if it would rain. We've had a drought for a long time.

No rain today but it's suppose to rain here tomorrow.

We had some rain in CA and we're happy! Why shouldn't be! We had a drought emergency in the state not far ago! And things were going difficult to many people here! Rain solves our drought issues!

Beside that! The whole world having drought and climate change issue! So most people would be happy about having and gathering some natural water. Our usable water is at risk everyday so! And guess what! 80 % of our brain contains water leave alone the rest of our body! Our survival depends on it!

It's cause for celebration during the drought conditions here in CA ... And it certainly makes my flowers happy!

It didn't rain where I live.

It didn't rain. At least not here.

If it rained here I would be happy because I wouldn't need to water my yard. Besides a good rain makes everything smell better.

Megan! I believe it’s the dry season and it did not rain for a long time.
People are normally really glad when it finally poured. The land, plants and
animals now have fresh water to thrive on and it also helps to fill up
reservoirs and dams for later use. It’s always good to have moderate amounts of
rain!
