I have had several. One, you and I have discussed before about not going to a gas station even though I really needed gas. But I will share another.

As many of you know my husband was in the Army. He would get up at 05:00 and take a shower. I am not a morning person and I would stay in bed sleeping. One morning I woke up very quickly feeling there was something wrong with my husband. I sat up for a minute getting my bearing, wondering if it was a dream or not. Then I heard the shower running. As I was about to climb out of bed I heard the shower shut off, so I concluded he was fine. I was wide awake at this point and turned on the tv. When he came in to kiss me goodbye, he asked why I was awake. When I told him I woke up thinking something had happened to him, he gave me a strange look. He told me while he was in the shower he got extremely dizzy and sat down quickly. I asked if he fell or made a noise I would have heard and that might of been what woke me he told me no. He said he just sat down.

I wasn't sure if I had an answer til I read Gator's answer and remembered a story. (Sorry Didge, it is a repeat story.) LOL!

I remember one time when Yang first got his truck driver’s license and was over the road. This was before cell phones so I use to have to wait by the home phone for his call from.... Yes..... A PAY PHONE!!! Lol! Anyways one night about midnight I had this feeling. The feeling was to pray for him. So I did. About an hour later it happened again. So I prayed again. An hour later, again. So I did again and forced myself to go to sleep this time. An hour later I woke up and the feeling had not gone away. So I prayed again. I dozed back off and a half of an hour later I woke up! The feeling would not go away. This went on every half of an hour until 7 A.M. When the phone rang. I darted to answer it. I said hello. I was thankful to hear Yang’s voice. The first thing out of his mouth was "have you been praying for me?" I replied "Yes what happened!" He proceeded to tell me how his brakes went out in the rig while he was driving downhill into his terminal!

Years ago, at about 2:30AM, my dog suddenly stood up in bed. He was about 65 pounds and shook the whole bed and woke me up. All of a sudden I realized what woke him up. We could smell my wife, her perfume and all. This happened about 2 years after she died and all of her clothing and stuff had already been removed from the house. I was up the rest of the night so I don't think it was a dream.

I know exactly what you mean, Hippy. It's the sort of things that makes even an old sceptic like me ask questions. Something to treasure.

It was a very weird feeling and I wanted it to last for a while.

Yeah, man, that's gotta count. Great trip, man. Coulda been worse. You coulda seen the other guy.

I've told this story before but I once gave a handout to a homeless buy and he said, "Do you know the devil?" When I told him the devil was a good mate of mine he said, "Well I've seen him." And so he had. In a fit of the DT while he was jonesing for more booze. And of all places to see him, it was isn the Salvation Army's homeless shelter. That old devil just don't got no respect at all.

I had a dream on a Thursday Night that I was in the back of my brother-in-laws car holding my nephew who was lifeless.  I told my mum about this dream that day as it unsettled me.

On the Saturday I went to my sisters and my nephew was unwell, my sister had just had a baby. I rolled a glass over his rash and it wouldn't disappear his temp nearly 40'c. So I said take him to hospital. There I was sitting in the back of my brother-in-laws car as he rushed through traffic lights etc to the hospital, I sat holding my nephews limp body in my arms.

Turned out he had a severe ear infection, they had trouble getting fluids into him but he was ok, stayed the night and came home the next day.

Its not something I often share, but it spooked my mother and I.

Care to share Didge?

That's something you won't forget in a hurry and exactly the sought of experience I was asking about. Thanks, PP.

(I've dropped a few of my own experiences on here from time to time but I prefer not to answer my own questions. Doubtless they'll crop up sometime in the future.)
