I think it important to point out that our society hasn't been destroyed, ...not yet.
There are certainly a number of very serious threats, but nuclear energy isn't among them.
What will eventually kick us down the path toward ruination is our media-fed intra-societal divisiveness, failures of government to work effectively for the public advantage and destructive ideologies insinuated from within and without.
All this man-made peril looms under the greater specter of the on-going destruction of the earth environment, which man in all his arrogance can neither stop nor unanimously concede is authentic.
No, not at all, but burning fossil fuels will surely put an end to a lot of us......
Nah. Our society is doing pretty well but conflicting ideologies -- whether religious or political -- certainly create some havoc.
