As far as I am concerned if you marry someone you truly love, you marry them for all things. There is no need for anyone else.

In Australia 🇦🇺 we used to call them "Swingers parties" where couples could have sex with others partners openly. I almost went to one many years ago. I don't know if they are still going on.

They had them here is the US as well. In fact they still do. I have seen them mentioned on some shows. With the internet people can "meet" and set up parties while keeping things quiet. In fact there was a swingers club that the cops raided a few years ago. I think they couple hosting was arrested because they had people pay to get the password to get in. That made it a business and you cant run business out of a residential house.

LOL! I'm glad to see that this question is from a legit member and not an advertiser for brothels, prostitutes and sex toys which is becoming the norm around here lately.

Sexual intercourse should be a part of a happy marriage there should be no need for mistresses. As soon as you get a mistress in the picture then intimacy goes out the window. That said there are many different set up's in relationships, as you've already said, some men take multiple wives and the wives are ok with that, they share the housework and the upbringing of their children.  I personally, cannot separate sex from love and intimacy, in order to do that you would need to be able to make sex subjective, where as there is an emotional attachment and a vulnerability in it for me.

Only if ALL consenting adults agree...even then it opens up a big can of messy worms.

Waving hello back. Looking forward to some " perplexing " riddles :)

Ha Ha, Yes that riddle really drove me crazy. Luckily I've got a incredibly intelligent friend in you! I have to sign off, it's time to take the 7 dogs for walkies. It's about 40 degrees Celsius but they don't mind but it will be a short walk. Have to make sure they don't get heat stroke. We got a new cat called "Daisy" at the shelter. Her owner died so she had.to move out & ended up at the shelter. We have decided to adopt her. I think I have your email address, if I do I'll send you some pictures. She is gorgeous.

Take care until next time.....Stu

That would depend on a mutual agreement. When a couple marries .. Typically they take an oath to be faithful .. So to answer your question .. NO .. A man "should " not break his vows, be deceptive and cheat .. Period!

Nope! I did a double dime with wife version 1.0!  Almost at a quarter with wife version 2.0, don't think I would have a mistress 2.1, or girlfriend 2.2.  I lucked out with wife version 2.0!  My luck I would get another copy of wife version 1.0!  I've gotten two old to handle being in a relationship with the devils sister (AKA V 1.0) again!

Just one?    😜

Sounds more a like a glutton for punishment.  Where I'm from if one discovers the other you will end up with neither, but be paying both.

When they choose the right mate, there is no reason why the wife cannot fulfill both roles. In addition, the husband should fulfill the role of husband and lover. No need for these to be separate.
