Why does it seem like the day you have to go to the DMV everyone else does too?

It does seem that way. Same thing as getting in the wrong line at the grocery store.

Oh my gosh!!!!! YES! My husband had to fix a mistake that wasn't even his fault. He was at the DMV a total of 8 times in less then a week! You gotta have a lot of patience for a DMV trip!

I think it's that way almost every day at the DMV!  Your best bet is to make an appointment.  If you do, you're in and out much faster.

Yes, DMVs are where stories are made. Now a days you can do a lot on line but not everything. I was given a tip once about an out of the way DMV office just across the county line. Since it is a state operation it doesn't matter in which office you use. It was a twenty minute ride but I was in and out in less than ten minutes. There were greeters at the door who would give you a number,  escort you to the correct line then fetch any forms you might need. I was speechless. So many thank yous, so many have a nice day, so many how can I help you? When I was leaving I told a greeter at the door, "this place is unbelievable!" She yes it sure is, come back and see us again, we have free donuts on Tuesdays.
