I'm writing book. There is one part in the story where if the boy saves this other boy he will stay good, but if he does not his heart will grow dark and evil. Should I make him go evil or keep him good?

Yes.

Why not do both. The contrast between good and evil would be thrilling. Now you just have to decide in what order ...good first/ evil second ???

Could be a great story plot.

Do Both in what way exactly, I did have in mind doing a book stile where the reader chooses for the character, but that's a lot more difficult than expected, lol.

I think he should do evil first and then the good. He could morph into a superhero with a very dark past.

Have him grow dark and evil then eventually have him turn back to the light.

Go "evil" ... But from his point, he is doing "good"

After all, few people who do bad actually think they are doing bad.
