I've been to a lot of weddings throughout the years and I've never heard that. I wish someone would have spoken up at my first wedding.

No, and I can't even remember any wedding where it was asked. It wasn't asked at mine.
Not yet! It gets so quiet you could hear a pin drop when that challenge is made. (Even though nobody expects a response, the congregation seems a bit uneasy for those few seconds.) LOL
