I was about 4 years old and remember being pummeled by the ocean down at the Jersey shore. I can still feel my dads hands around me as he pulled me out and hugged me with all his might. THAT is etched in my mind and it's something that I can recall vividly.

Since everyone is picking a young childhood memory I will say this one.... I was probably 4 and my parents took us to a luau and there was a pig there. I thought he was cute and made friends with it. Next thing I know is there is a pig in a pit being roasted! Still had its eyeballs and everything! I was so heartbroken cuz I thought that was the same pig I just made friends with. I can still remember the smell and get nauseated. My dad asked me if I would try this pork and I refused. I havent touched pork since. I get nauseated just thinking about it!

Giving birth. That was the most amazing experience, I can not explain that moment when that baby clears your body. It's exquisite joy and loss at the same time.

Death. I will be forever changed.

I remember being in Bass Lake at age 5 when my flotation device slipped off.  I kept my eyes open as I went down to the bottom several times and thought I was going to die.  My brother was fishing from a boat and spotted me, and I remember him swimming me back to shore with his arm under my chin.

When I was 17 I was at my father's side and watched him take his last breath.

When I was 11, my dead mother told my younger sister, she wished someone would take me and she didn't want me. I was officially on my own, I did whatever I wanted to do, she mentally, physically, emotionally and psychologically abandon and neglected me😢.
