Do you have the skills to live in the preindustrial times - no electricity or appliances, just a "little house on the prairie"?

I could handle cooking with fire and things in the house.  But, I would be lost trying to hitch the team to the wagon.  I'm pretty sure I don't even know what I don't know.

I think I could handle the household stuff and gardening.

Not so sure about the animals.

Agree. I'd look at all the halters, yokes and saddles and just scratch my head. Poor horses would never put up with my fumbling.
And now I'll be honest. I'd get sick of the poop and shoot myself.

I don't have them now, but I am a quick learner.

I was at the gym one day working out with a group of older women. They said they were worried for the younger generation because they would never be able to take care of themselves if some apocalyptic happened. None of them knew how to sew or can food. I told them I may not know much of those things, but I knew how to break into the library and find the answers. Lol
