What's worse solitary confinement or jail?

I've heard solitary confinement is worse. U don't have t.v., books, ppl to talk to or listen to..

I had solitaty confinement while in prison here in tx its bad some people cant handle it i can handle it

For me, solitary confinement would be far worse.  I think the time would really crawl by with no human interaction for a prolonged period.

We are a social species . . . Solitary is far worse for the majority of people.

Solitary would be the worse for me. But, jail would be very bad too.

Both sound terrifying, but solitary is especially cruel because it deprives humans of a basic need.
