The Hebrew verb yare can mean “to fear, to respect, to reverence” and the Hebrew noun yirah “usually refers to the fear of God and is viewed as a positive quality.

Phobos can mean “reverential fear” of God, “not a mere ‘fear’ of His power and righteous retribution, but a wholesome dread of displeasing him.

So the bible does talk about fearing God, just as one fears their father if they do wrong, because a good father disciplines and teaches their child, but also deserves respect because they are a role model, a guide and wiser than a child.

Nope.

Nor am I afraid of unicorns, minotaurs, leprechauns, fairies, or any other mythical creature.

You shoudln't be, I am not. The fear ruled your life. People are always trying to put fear into you for better control.
