How can the traditionally reflective Catholic season of Lent be equated to or described as "Reaching for God Together?" Can you elaborate?

Perhaps it is a unified ceremony in that respect.

If "Lent" be a particular calendar date (which it is), then the unified effort of this particular denomination would be acting in accordance at the same time, thereby engaging in worship (of a sorts), together.

I'm not sure that a Catholic would agree that Lent is for us "Reaching for God together."

And I'm not sure that Dark Majiin, an atheist who has rejected Catholicism, has any insight as to how it might be characterized that way.

Why are the faces of horses typically so narrow and slender, especially compared with the rest of the body/torso, and particularly the derriere? What's the reason for it? Why don't they make the heads slightly larger (wider), like that of cows, to balance out the rest of the body?

I like my horse just the way he is ! I wouldn't want it any other way!
