No way. Cats are just drones, dogs have intelligence. Have you ever seen a drug sniffing cat, junkyard cat, watchcat, seeing eye cat, etc?

I had an attack cat. The only people it would let near it were me and my mom. Otherwise it would shred you.

We had one of those too Gator, many years ago. He would hide behind something and attack anyone that walked by.

Shame on you, posting such an appalling suggestion on a site where little children can come and read it. You may have blighted many young lives.

Dogs have more intelligence than quite a few humans I could name (including the majority of politicians). Cats are only cats.

Pshaw!

Due to their individuality, cats are difficult to study. Honestly, we don't really know. In my opinion, intelligence is subjective. Something smart to one person would be dumb to another

No. And here is my proof.

To be fair, dogs would probably do that too if they could climb

Maybe some of them, not mine though. I have a dog that learned how to unlatch the gate and the front door by the time she was 8 months old. Everything had to be locked just to keep her in the house. I have never had a crate that would hold her either.

its fair to say that cats and dogs are smart in their own ways. i prefer a dog since dogs are more "buddy buddy" with their owners.
