Oh that's a toughie.

Yellow is creamy and tastes like a banana. Bright yellow is strong and tastes like a lemon.

Yellow is warm like the heat that you feel on your skin while lying in the warm sun of your window sill.

It would depend on the shade of yellow. There's pale yellow that is soft, smooth and creamy like butter. Than there is the yellow of a daffodil. It is warmer and hopeful, like spring. And then there is school bus yellow. It is bright, and warm. It is the color of caution.

Believe it or not I have pondered this before. If I recall correctly someone who is blind at birth can "sense" color. The thing is is finding out what is THEIR color yellow. Maybe what they see as "purple" would be our "yellow" like the yellow school bus but it's a purple School bus to the blind person. Purple is their yellow. So what I am trying to get at is I would ask them what they see the color yellow as.
