Oh Tiger that is delightful! In a sense users had the last laugh after all...I will always wish we knew more about the dynamics behind that close-down of a site that was so helpful to so many...I am suspecting dark motives of greed, not enough money, etc...

Well, maybe they will see the light someday...Dozy, Happy and I were discussing...we do miss the big influx of questions all sorts of variety, although Blurt somehow makes more sense in terms of the moderation here.
And Ask probably got its heavy traffic from its search engine mode? Anyway that is how both she and I found Ask, using it as a search engine and got funneled into the Q/A community...
