If you could spend some time in the wild photographing one animal, which would it be? (Tele lenses are permitted, guns are not.)

He's got a bad reputation which is probably undeserved, rather like the Australian dingo. Maybe you and I could start a campaign to apply political correctness to our wild dogs.

I truly do love them...but yes their reputation...I stand up for them.
I have heard of the dingo always, don't know much about them.

The Bald Eagle, here in the US.

I watch live wildlife cams a lot. Bald Eagles nests, elk, Great Horned Owl nest, red tailed hawk nest here in the US. Latvia has a great system of cams that I watch pretty often too, badger, deer, black stork nest, black eagle nest and common buzzard nests.

During the nesting and egg laying seasons, the birds are the most fun to watch.

They're magnificent, Hippy. I haven't thought to check the wildlife camera feeds. I'll do that. Thanks for the tip.

The elk cam in PA will be going off line tonight. It's only on during the rut season, then hunting season starts. No body wants to see them get shot. It's a blast to watch every year.

Wolves .. Facinating creatures, right down to their communication and organizational skills, and how they care for their pack.  I'm think'n there is a lot we could learn about animals in wild in terms of any one those things and apply it to our own communities.
