Yes and no. Not when you are young. Youth lacks experience and wisdom. As you get older you not only gain them, but perspective as well. But after a certain point it just becomes a number. And people need to remember and encourage their inner child. That point usually comes about the time people become grandparents.
Calling a person elderly because they've reached 60 or 70 or 80 also needs clarification. How good is their health? Or their mental agility? How active are they? How open are they to new things? How much excitement is in their lives? How much enthusiasm do they have? Do they spring out of bed in the morning or shudder at the thought of facing another day?
I don't really have a definitive answer, just a few observations and a few questions, but I lean strongly toward a NO vote.
It is just a number.
There are age frames out there. If you wanna reach a career you must get there before you get too old for it. Or you might get older and feel your capabilities are decreasing out of control. Or health issues might hunt us down.
But there is not limit or milestone about age at the end of the day. It all depends on ourselves the most magical creatures. Humans.
It does not define the overall of our activities.
-We have people who reached their goals at the age of 50. Mid 30, 40.
-We have 18 years old soccer players out there that are playing like true legends and experienced players and we have 36 years old who still playing like a champ and comparing himself to wine. Getting better by age instead of getting down.
-It does not define experience either. I know a 15 years old who knows more and do understand more than a dozen adults combined. There are a dozen examples of that.
-Years ago apple just hired a 12 years old girl. In 2014 a five years old boy passed the Microsoft giant test.
-It does not involve in love and relationships either. While ago , a mid 20 male married a mid 40 female and they living a happy life.
- Margaret Thome Bekema, 97 years old woman just got her high school diploma, something that she could not finish due family issues. There are more! Massachusetts woman 100 years old got her diploma. Dorothy Huston tosses got her diploma at age 93.
-People like Bill Gates living another proof.
There are more and more and more to tell!
Enjoy watching a 97 years old dancing in Italy.
I see age as a series of mileposts.
The earliest ones prepare us for what is ahead; Later, we use these markers to tell where we are; Eventually, we aren't counting anymore because we have arrived, and reflect more on those that we passed.
My age reflects all the pain i put my body thrue when i was younger
No.
No, you gain experience with age.
