I just got back from one :) so this is easy for me :

The crazy aunt who buys me cook books about cooking meat and asks  me 708 times are you okay? Are you really okay? You sure you okay ? Why haven't you settled down ? "YEAH BEE-ACH I'm okay, I don't live in an apartment with my husband of however many years but  think I'm married to some freakin character from farking Y&R  like you do? BACK OFF ME"

Playing board games with my sister( we're both competitive as' )

When the gawd damn wine runs out .... On the table .... And you playing board games......with sneaky sisters .and dealing with judgy aunts.

My mother-I'm-law getting preachy.

My brother-in-law changing the music I have selected or if at his house playing video games or his stereo so loud you can't carry on a decent conversation.

Clean up afterwards.

1) "You're 7 year old cousin has already had several boyfriends.  Why don't you have one?"

2) Any questions about if there's alcohol in sweets, or if I would like a drink of alcohol, or anything about me and alcohol, because the answer is always no

3) Being too young have proper conversations with the adults and too old to have fun with the kids.

Firstly, people trying to discuss politics. We all have our point of view; get over it. Secondly, there's an aunt who constantly questions my abilities to live on my own because of my condition and she thinks I'm clinically depressed. I don't know where she gets that so, needless to say, she really gets on my nerves so I was very excited to learn she couldn't make it the last few dinners. That's mainly it for me. :)

Being asked by any elderly family members when I'm going to meet a "nice girl". My grandmother seems to think my boyfriend is just a really close friend. I don't push the point, though.

Otherwise, for the most part, family dinners are pleasant, especially with my immediate family. With relatives I don't know as well, it can be a bit awkward sometimes.
