........ And the trash had maggots in it of course. I didn't want to add that at first for fear of it seeming to be a made up incident but it's not...... If I don't laugh I will be crying. It just one of them days! Lol!
Okay! I backed the car into the trash can running late to pick up my daughter. The trash fell over spilling into the street. I jump out to pick it up and I kid you not it begins to rain! So how is your day going?
Ahh, I can relate! Tomorrow is another day .... Keep your chin up. :)
Ahhh... Those days do happen. But tomorrow will be better.
Sounds like your day was almost as bad as mine.
I was vacuuming the living room and the bag exploded. I had just finished painting the walls and the paint was still wet. Well, now I have dust velvet walls. To make things worse, a gecko family started crawling all over the walls, so now I have dust velvet walls with gecko footprints all over. THEN, my washer overflowed and spilled out into the carpeted hallway and into the bedroom. My bed started to float and broke the window and pushed the air conditioner out. As luck would have it, my car was underneath the window and the AC unit went through the sunroof. On my way to the repair shop, I hit a trash can and the trash spewed all over the roadway. I stopped, picked up the trash, maggots and all and then it started raining.
Nah, just kidding. I'm such a liar.
I hope tomorrow is a better day for you Yin.
Sounds like your out ofshine i will send u some
Look at it this way. You still have a daughter, a car and a trash can.
The rain ? = a bad hair day.
Last night, I was on my way home in the pouring rain when the driver side window on my car just plopped down and wouldn't go back up... I looked like a drowned rat when I got home. My poor driver seat. My poor hair. It was dripping puddles!! :)
Compared to your I had the best day, nothing happened.
I am answering this a day late. So yesterday was the type of day I wish I had the Guinness Book of World Records around. I could have set the record for the most F-bombs dropped in one day. I had three things to do that each should have not taken more than 10-20 minutes.
1. Install a tire pressure monitoring system on the RV. Put the sensor on the valve stem and sync it with the monitor. The first two went on no problem. The last four did not sync up at all. I tried to sync them a secondary and still nothing. Finally after my hubby gets home he reads the instructions and we repeat everything I did before except they synced up after the second try. I spent over an hour on it before he got home.
2. Because the sensors wouldn't sync and I put them on and off trying to sync them up, I lost some air pressure in the tires. I break out the compressor to inflate the tires and the thing dies on me. I let cool and release pressure trying get it started again and no luck. After 40 minutes I dropped it as I was moving it and it started working again. I quickly filled the tires with an extra lb. Or two so it gives some leeway when I got back around to putting the sensors on.
3. I went to change the filters on the water system under the sink. First of it wasn't installed high enough that I could just pull off the canisters so I had to remove the canister housing. I got that off and cleaned the canisters and put the new filters in and remounted in place. I turned the water back on everything looked good so I walked away. BIG MISTAKE!!! I missed putting an O-ring back in. Water leaked everywhere. The kitchen, dining room and living room all had water. After I got the water up i had to pull the baseboards and the face plates of the kick plate under the cabinets off I had to drill holes on the kick plates so I could get the wet vac in there and suck out the rest of the water out. I still have fans running to make sure it dries out. When I get back I will have to treat it al with mold preventative before patching and painting and putting the baseboards back on.
So what should have taken an hour of my day yesterday took most of the day. I didn't start doing laundry until 4 pm. I did six loads before bed, two were towels to sop up water. I needed to finish the laundry so I could pack for our camping trip. So instead of packing yesterday, I packed this morning. So far I haven't found where I forgot anything.
