My best friend is color blind with no problems. Just shades. He also has no sense of smell. That does create a problem if he lets his dogs in the house after they were sprayed by a skunk. That has happened twice. His wife wasn't happy.

My oldest son is very colorblind. He must take someone with him when he's clothes shopping or seek help from a sales person. He has a pretty good system for getting dressed in the morning, ensuring that he matches.
