I buy toilet paper in bulk. I buy the Scott's 1000 sheet rolls in a case of 36. That should last me almost 3 years.
No, I don't.
My husband came home a couple years ago with 2 HUGE things of toilet paper and a Costco card.... I thought I was gonna wring his neck! We didn't need that much and I was doing a good job with the measly 99 cent rolls! He said "just try it!" So I did and fell in love (with what love you could actually give toilet paper! Lol) We now give the money to someone who has a Costco card and they get it for us! Hippy's 36 rolls that last him a couple years lasts 6-8 weeks in the Yin and Yang household! Lol! 😁
Usually I buy non-perishables in bulk, such as paper products, cleaning and maintenance items. I also purchase canned goods when on sale. Overall I find the cheaper prices and fewer trips to the store advantageous. The only negative aspect is storage.
I tried it for awhile, but it's not my thing.
No, but I do stock up on bags of Lucy's dog food whenever it's on sale. That's about as close as I come to buying in bulk.
Since we live so far from town it makes sense for us to buy in bulk. Mostly toiletries, paper products, cleaning supplies, laundry items and canned goods. We buy a half of a beef in Spring for the upright freezer if that counts.
