I have several times. The movie is based off of a true story. That really happened in Japan. I had two of these dogs back in the 70's. They are very loyal and a one person dog. Great movie in my opinion. There's also a book about Hachiko.
Have any of you dog lovers seen the film "Hachiko" & what's your opinion of it?
I don't watch movies about dogs. They usually are too emotional for me.
Watched it once or twice a while ago, don't remember much of it but I'm assuming that the girl he escapes the yard from is non canon to real life :p
I'm not a dog lover, all that mewing, washing and chasing mice, killing birds and stuff.

I haven't seen it yet, but 2 of my good friends highly recommend it. I know I will cry my eyes out from what they have told me.
It's a really good movie for dog lovers. I watched it several times and cried every time. I even so the "Hachiko" statue in Japan!
