I have and prefer a mountain bike. There is nowhere to ride a BMX bike around my hood but we have a lot of paved trails and some stone trails perfect for mountain bikes.
what would you rather have a mountain bike or a bmx?
I'm over 50, so are my knees. I have no delusions of being Dave Mirra. Motorbike or horseback.
I'm a boat guy, I live by the sea.

I have been looking a mountain bikes. They would be good to ride around campgrounds.
I have both, but I prefer mountain biking. It's more fun to be out biking in the woods than in a skate park or something, but both are fun :)
