Can we save the planet by eating insects?
The world holds 300 pounds of insects for every pound of humans. A sustainable solution to meet the protein demands of a growing population. An alternative to resource-intensive staples like beef, poultry, and fish. They are highly nutritional and their low environmental impact make them ideal food. So what do you think?

Insects play a very important part in our ecosystems. I think if we started eating them in any great number it could upset the balance of things. Insect are what break down different waste created by other animals and all the leaves and other debris created by mother nature. So I will leave the insects to do there job and I will stick to my regular diet.

We are already ingesting them. Flour production has some standard allowances of how many bug parts are allowed per pound of flour.

Some flavoring/ color additives are made from ground up beatles.

I can not and will not help, by eating bugs and insects or any such things.

However, I have no problem with others wishing to eat insects.
