What is the biggest ripoff people still pay for?

Whole life insurance.

Psychic readings.

Nigerian get rich scams.

Printer ink. It's more of a racket than my expensive tennis racket. 

Income Tax, not a penny goes on public services, it pays off the debt that we can never get out of anyway, because in order to make money we have to be in debt. The federal reserve makes a bond gives it to the banks, the banks create money that isn't there to begin with (debt). They then take our money that we've invested and lending it out with interest,  hence they are lending money they do not have, so it creates more debt but interest for them. The only people benefiting from income tax are the federal reserve, bankers and private stock holders. All we get is more future debt.

Property taxes! I paid for the property already.....isn't that enough?  In Illinois it is OUTRAGEOUS 😲

Donations to charities advertised on T.V.! Ugh I cringe everytime my mom sends some charity she sees on tv a check..... Then they send her a t-shirt. THAT'S how I KNOW she is getting taken advantage of. I once read somewhere that tv advertised charities only can give like 2 dollars out of your minimum monthly payment of just 20 dollars a month actually goes to the cause! The rest of the money you give goes to pay for their advertising, the "actors," the "free" t-shirt they send, etc. SMH!!!!
