Let me give you an example..... Go answer my next question. I will edit this answer when I post my question.
why you guys feel so much hatred to the anonymous people means they not do anything wrong with you and if anonymous is so bad then why blurtit give this option?
Unless the question is of a highly personal nature, WHY ask it anonymously?
The majority of spammers, trolls, and flamers ask anonymously . . .
I don't "hate" anonymous posters, but I pass over their questions more than others unless it's a very sensitive matter (and even those are rarely appropriate for a public forum). If a person isn't willing to own their comments, I find it difficult to take them seriously.
I don't hate them! I just don't take them serious.
I don't hate. I've never used the option. I do vote to keep it. Some people need tge animosity to ask certain questions.
It does allow for a lot of troll questions though. Oh well the good with the bad and all that.
Not sure where the "hatred" has ever shown itself. Many questions from "anonymous" contributors have been less "engaging" than those posed by people with identifiable personalities. Most people here have nicknames anyway, they are functionally anonymous, but we all know them as people, real people. "Anonymous" is a lazy cop out.
The majority of anonymous questions are those used to troll and are trying to use a shock factor. Many others are just rude and insulting. Very few are someone who is asking a personal or embarrassing question. You can usually tell by the wording those that are trolling and those that are serous.
I do not "hate" anyone who posts anonymously. But I have little respect for someone who wishes to engage me (post a question) and expects me to put any thought into a response to someone who chooses (refuses?) to give me information that would allow me to prepare an individuated response to them.
Yes, one who posts anonymously is following the guidelines for the site and is doing nothing wrong.
But this site also allows stupid people who don't know anything to answer questions on here.
They too are following guidelines and are doing nothing wrong.
But, just like "anonymous," I consider them a pain in the ass also.
Not all members ignore the anonymous questions. Many anonymous questions turn out to be trolls, or advertisers so users have to use their discretion as to whether they answer.
