Which is worse smoking cigarettes or drinking alcohol?

Kicking the nicotine habit is harder then kicking heroine! I think smoking is worse then drinking. However you never hear of someone smoking cigarettes then getting the wheel and killing someone so the death toll of both is still probably equal.

Both are bad news.

Alcohol is a little more forgiving on the body though.

Drinking moderately is better than smoking regularly. Drinking heavily (regularly) is worse than smoking regularly. Personal opinion, and based on people I know who've had drug issues.

Smoking is far worse (in health terms, anyway). Pity, I used to enjoy it (until 15 years ago, when it nearly killed me.)
