I asked the "Cat's Protection League" if it was reasonable to render itinerant felines into nitrogen-rich fertilizer. They then locked me out of their website. Is this an attack on free speech?

Yours was a totally legitimate question and they are infringing on your right to free speech. SUE 'EM.

Lol Ray! Yes I suppose that it is! Considering its the "protection league" one might think that one should actually LIKE cats to interact with that website!

Hmm, with tact like that I wonder if you collaborated in writing the episode of Magnum PI in which Tom Selleck received a bravery award from a Hawaii cat society following his rescue of a cat.

He explained how he loved cats and played with them when he was a kid. He used to play spin the cat, seeing how many times he and his friends could spin a cat with one twist; and he and his friends had slide the cat contests, where they hurled the cats along the floor.

And, while the good ladies were gasping and fainting in horror he threw up his hands, protesting, "They loved it. They really loved it."
