I was born on December 31st 2 minutes before midnight:/ yes I feel sorry for me :( all anybody cares about is counting down to midnight then ..... I exist !!!
Do you feel bad for people born in later months like November or December? because they have to wait a while for there birthday?
everyone waits the same amount of time whther you were born in June or December..
Yeah, when I was younger it sucked. I was the last for everything. For driving, drinking, curfews. My friends would be out and I'd be home, bored. But I have to say now that we are older I'm having the last laugh. This year we all have or are about to have a 0 milestone birthday. I've been hassling every one of them for being so very old, while I'm so very young! Hey!! In my world even a few days matter. :)
No one waits longer than 12 months .. We all wait exactly the same amount of time
To tell you the truth, I never really thought about it.
My birthday is in November and I don't have to wait longer than anybody else.
My birthday is October 29---within spitting distance of November; but I will admit there is a distinct difference between a month like November and December which are associated with celebratory national holidays and thus tend to compete with the celebration of one's birth.
I always make it a point to try and make people I know with birthdays around Thanksgiving and Christmas very aware that I think there birthday is important to both them and me.
November birthdays do not get overlooked in my family. There are too many of them, and another coming soon!
I do feel bad for those that have their birthdays at the end of December. Even if you do celebrate it, the days leading up to it doesn't get the excitement from thers, because they are so focused on the holidays. My step-daughter is one of them. Unfortunately she lives on the other side of the country and we hardly ever et to see her on her birthday .
My birthdays in September, and that's late enough for me. The reason that I think that it's harder is because when you're younger, everyone is older than you (they get their drivers license first, they get legal rights to a bunch of things well before you do), and getting left out of a bunch of things that all your friends do because you're too young by a couple of months is annoying. I think that it doesn't matter as much when you're older because everyone has the same rights, and age stops to matter as much.
So, to answer the question, yes, I feel sorry for people under 18 whose birthdays are later in the year, but not so much for people who are older than that.
No i don't really see a point of feeling sorry!
My own birthday is in January. The heart of the new year! And i never had such a problem. And i don't feel sorry for myself.
-We all wait for the same amount of time at the end of the day.
-I never had this overlooked problem. There could be some factors involved but i guess the most important one could be the fact that i don't really care about my birthday as a celebration event. I never really wait impatiently for people's attention about it. And i'm so content all over it.
Well, the only problem with having my birthday be September 28th is that I was either going to be way older than everyone in my school class or way younger; and it ended up being the latter. So I was like the last of my friends to turn 21 and get to go to bars and the last to turn 16 and get a license and the last to turn 18 and finally be an adult...but now that I've passed the milestone ages, I don't mind so much anymore :)
