Listen to music, read, cook, or just flat out cry and get it over with....once I get it out of my system, I'm ok til the next time!

I normally play video games. But today I was so down, I wasn't in the mood to that even!

@Dylan I play on PS4 but I haven't played Destiny. I will buy it though. Now I am hitting Final Fantasy

Oh, I'm sorry Ally, that sucks. I'm glad he's back to normal. Yeah if you are a fan of Final Fantasy or other RPG games, you'll really like Destiny, it's like a mixture of Halo and Final Fantasy.

I either talk to my wife about it or listen to some good " pick me up" songs.

Grab my latest book and head for the crapper for some quality reading time. Always feels better afterwards.

I do a small random act of kindness. It takes me out of a miserable funk.

I watch documentaries about space and then get the feeling that the world is so fascinating and here I am feeling sorry for myself whilst I should use my time (weird, I know, but it works)

Or if I'll do some meditation and that helps me clear my head .

Get out of the house or regular routine. Take a walk outside if the weather is nice. If not go window shopping or go out to eat.

Do something that distracts me from it, like reading.  I also eat chocolate, or watch a sad movie so that you can pour all your emotions into that movie and get it over with within a couple of hours.  Or all three...

Hi Daniel! I very rarely feel down, but if it ever happens, I will normally get into things that help me shift my thoughts. Mobile gaming is the activity that I revert to most of the time and this platformer: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/electricity-game-dashes-high/id963759829?mt=8 is one of my favourites. I also have several other apps on my phone and they are all used to stay entertained. Facebook often helps!

Otherwise, I will also be seen watching movies on netflix.com. They have a bunch of interesting new releases up these days, you will love them! Here are some more tips to help you out https://www.buzzfeed.com/hnigatu/things-to-do-when-youre-feeling-down. All the best!

Breathe in for 4 seconds, hold for 4, breathe out for 4. Closed eyes or not.

Repeat a few times and everything else just fades away.
