You would love ❤️ our cat called Daisy, she loves to sleep in our bed with us & quite often I wake up & she is lying on my chest with her head right over my heart ❤️ listening to my heart bed. It's such a special moment & it's almost spiritual.

I use car wax to seal up the surface. I've tried clear enamel and clear lacquer but they diminish the polished surface a lot.

Hope you have a photographic portfolio.
There's a great youtube video of copper plating. Just type into search: easy and inexpensive cooper plating trick. Funny thing happened at a shopping parking lot. My friend was waiting for me to shop. He brought along some brass and was polishing it in the truck. I did a double take when I saw the motion he was making bellow the dashboard / windshield of my view. ☺
