I associate colors with days of the week, people, and numbers especially. Do you associate colors with things?

I think it might be because as a child, maybe posters teaching numbers and days of the week in the classroom were colored, so I associated the color of that number and day with it?

Sunday is yellow, Monday is red, Tuesday is green, Wednesday is blue, Thursday is yellow-orange, Friday is yellow, and Saturday is light blue.

1 is red, 2 is green, 3 is purple, 4 is orange, 5 is red, 6 is indigo, 7 is silver-blue, 8 is purple, 9 is green, 10 is red.

As for people, for example, I associate my mother with the color green.

For some odd reason, I associate the number 8 with the taste of chocolate...smooth and creamy. Gets that milk chocolate color too.

There's a couple others but that one is the most dominate.

No I don't. But it's sounds interesting the way you do that.

Not exactly.  But certain colors seem to suit the different professors I work with, so I've color code their files accordingly.  (Pretty silly, I know, but it's worked for almost 30 years.)

You said that "I associate colors."  That sounds like a conscious choice to me and not  synesthesia.

My wife also does that and she has an excellent memory---even better than mine in some areas.  (One of her many talents is being an artist.)
