I am always early. If it looks like I will be late I don't go.

I am nearly always early.  I hate the thought of keeping people waiting, and I'm not thrilled when they do it to me either.

Exactly ! I mean... those habitually late ones don't dare to be late for an airplane flight so I don't understand why they can't be on time for their friends. So annoying to be left waiting. ..I think.
