I already put Sadie to work on rodent patrol. When she looks out the window and sees a squirrel getting too close to the house, she lets me know so I can open the front door. The stupid squirrels usually run by 5 or 6 trees before they climb one. She just keeps them out of her territory. I don't think she would hurt them. That's the hawks job.
