I've thought about this a lot, and I don't really know the answer to it. Is wearing your shoes in your house a thing? Like do people actually do that? I dunno, I'm Canadian lol so is that like an American thing?

We usually wear shoes in the house but I had a best friend who worked in a hospital as a registered nurse and she refused to wear her work shoes in her house. She would leave them at her front door outside.

Aha I could understand. The only time I ever wear my shoes in my house is when I need to grab something quickly and then go back outside because I'm too lazy to take my shoes off.

I wear my boots in my house. I always wipe my feet good on the porch rugs good before I come in though. If my boots are muddy, greasy or wet I take them off before I come in. We have mostly ceramic tile and hardwood floors. It's easier to clean up a mess.

That's really weird. I wonder if it was your internet supplier?

I don't think so, because I tried turning off the wifi. The 4G cell service couldn't connect either.
I remember something similar happened when they made changes to the site a year or two ago. Rooster had warned us in advance.
With the new Report Spam flag and Chat move, they may have needed to debug.
Oh well. Whatever it was, it's gone now. :)

Candidly, I think you need something more meaningful to think about, Lily.

I for one rarely wear shoes at home, as it is warm here all the time and flip flops are more appropriate.

In our house, we go with or without shoes ... Whatever feels comfortable at the time.  I've been in Canada several times, and the homes I visited seemed to be the same way.
