Because I have no problem going pee with a black, white, Mexican, etc next to me but I have a HUGE problem with going pee with a penis next to me! Penis's should pee with penis's and vaginas should pee with vagina's. Plain and simple.
Why is it okay for public bathrooms to be segregated by sex but not by race?
I have no problem using the restroom with any race. But I’m not going to use it if males are in there. No ma’am not me!

You cannot discriminate against someone because of the color of their skin, Congress banned segregation in the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Now if you want to share the crapper with someone of the opposite sex.... Feel free, personally I'll pass.
Because most people are still self-conscious about their genitalia being visible around others of their own gender. Other than someone they are intimate with, they don't want anyone to see their "junk".
