I've heard of them but I've never made one, I did make a one ingredient cake mix, the pineapple cake it was really yummy but it's bubbled over in my oven like crazy.
Have you ever made a soda cake? It’s where you take a cake mix and add a can of soda to it. If so, how did it turn out?
Yes I have done it and it comes out very good. They are moist. It was a weight watcher little trick to be able to enjoy cake with points shaved off. You take a white cake mix and any flavor diet soda. (Orange, strawberry, grape, lemon lime, was the suggestion) and it turns out to be a grape cake or lemon lime cake, etc. I did the diet orange Sunkist cuz I was curious and that's what I had. It is good. It's one can of soda replacing all the other ingredients in the cake mix (no egg, oil, water.) Bake time is as it says on your cake mix.
